I joined the Stanway School in 2009 as Head of Art having taught in other schools, both in Essex and internationally. I became an Assistant Headteacher here in 2014 and more recently have taken on the additional responsibility of Lead Special Educational Needs Coordinator or SENCO. I am responsible for an excellent team which includes Learning Support Assistants, Deputy SENCOs and Administrative Staff who all share the same vision in supporting our young people to achieve their very best socially, academically and emotionally. 

Outside of school, I have 3 small children who keep me very busy! But I do also find time for some Pilates and ceramics classes.
