The Stanway School Year 11s Sparkle at Prom
WIVENHOE, ESSEX – July 10, 2025 – The beautiful Wivenhoe House Hotel was abuzz with excitement as The Stanway School's Year 11 students celebrated their much-anticipated Prom. Dressed in their finest, the departing cohort marked the end of their secondary school journey with an evening of glamour, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
Students began arriving in style at the picturesque venue, with all manner of transportation being showcased. From sports cars and limousines to noble steeds, students began stepping onto the red carpet to cheers and flashing cameras from proud parents. The elegant setting of Wivenhoe House provided a stunning backdrop for such photographs (see below for a few examples), with many students making the most of the manicured grounds for some amazing shots.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was one of joyous celebration. Students enjoyed a delicious buffet meal and enjoyed partying with friends. The dance floor was rarely empty as the students, many of whom have shared years of schooling, celebrated their achievements and looked ahead to their exciting futures.
"It was such a fantastic night," commented one Year 11 student, beaming. "It's a great way to say goodbye to everyone and celebrate all our hard work." Another student added, "Wivenhoe House looked amazing, and it was brilliant to see everyone dressed up. It really felt like a special occasion."
The Prom, a cherished tradition, provided a fitting farewell for The Stanway School's Year 11 class. It was a testament to their resilience and camaraderie, offering a well-deserved evening of celebration after their demanding exam period.
As the night drew to a close, students departed with smiles, shared memories, and a few sore feet from wearing their heels! The Stanway School wishes all its Year 11 leavers the very best in their future endeavours. We know they will continue to shine brightly in whatever path they choose.
