I joined the Stanway School in September 2019 as Deputy Headteacher having taught in schools across Essex for 15 years. In my role as Acting Head of School, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the school and I have one very simple aim for the school - for us to be the “Best school in Essex”. That means throughout the entire experience our students get; not just grades, but in every aspect of their 5 years at the school.

Outside of school, I am a keen musician who plays the guitar, a big fan of Taylor Swift, Metallica and Pink Floyd (slightly odd combination of musical tastes there!) and a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter (YNWA!).
