I am married (over 20 years now) and have 3 children. I started teaching 23 years ago, and have taught for all those years in Essex. For 15 of those years, I have been at Stanway on the Senior Leadership Team, 9 of which have been as a Headteacher. I now have a role within our Multi Academy Trust - Sigma - looking at Data and Assessment, and I split my time between Stanway and the other 11 schools in the MAT.

I play music (guitar and piano) and have started to get into astrophotography in my spare time, as well as walking my dog as a way to relax and take time for myself. Despite a difficult few years, I am still a supporter of Chelsea FC.
