Move for Mind Challenge

Move for Mind Challenge
01/02/2021 John Player

Over the 28 days of February, Miss Dunne will be undertaking a huge challenge for charity! She will be running 100 miles and giving up chocolate to raise money to support Mid and North East Essex Mind. (The chocolate is apparently the hardest part!!)

This is also to encourage the year 7 students to take on their own challenges to raise money for Mind or raise awareness and understanding about mental health. At the start of this academic year, Year 7 students were asked what charity they would like to support. They have chosen Mind as they appreciate how important the support they provide is to people in our local community, particularly at this very uncertain time.

Mid and North East Essex Mind is here to support and empower people experiencing an emotional or mental health condition by building on their personal hopes and aspirations. They work with children, young people and adults across the area. They believe no one should face a mental health problem alone.

Here is the link to Miss Dunne’s Just Giving page for anyone who would like to support her:

Good luck Miss Dunne – we are all behind you!!!
