Students play a significant role in the organisation and development of the school. Students across all age groups have leadership responsibility.
Positions are democratically elected by the student and staff populations. The school has a Head Boy and Head Girl and Deputies. They are supported by a team of prefects. In addition each House has Sports Captains and House Captains.
School Improvement issues are initially discussed by Form Tutors, Form representatives meet with the Student House Council.
Developments that are considered to be whole school are taken to the School Council, an Assistant Headteacher and Governor is in attendance. The Head Boy and Head Girl represent the School Council half termly at Governor Curriculum and Welfare Committee Meetings.

The current Head Boy and Head Girl are Ben Trood and Abbie Hubbard and the Deputies are Megan Griffiths, Megan Frogley, Joe Fowler and Elliot Lamb.
